Unpacking & Inspection: Inspect the battery casing for any physical damage, leakage, or cracks.
Terminal Maintenance: Clean the battery terminals to remove any oxidation. Apply petroleum jelly or terminal grease to prevent future corrosion.
Intercell Connection: Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals securely to the inverter leads using insulated spanners.
Distilled Water Check: (For flooded/lead-acid batteries) Verify that the electrolyte/distilled water levels are up to the marked maximum indicator line before powering up.
